Today is the final day of the semester! I can’t believe that it’s already over. I enjoyed taking this class. I learned a lot from discussions, major assignments, and feedback from my peers and professor. What benefited me the most was the feedback I have received. Without it, I would not have noticed that my work might be missing essential information or that it can be improved by adding certain things. The feedback I’ve received has also helped me feel more confident and secure in my work. For example, in the technical description and even the lab report, I felt that my rough drafts weren’t good enough and far from finished. But, my peers and professor’s feedback helped me realize that I was actually close to finished with the assignment. Aside from that, my favorite assignment was the technical description since I’ve never written something like it before. The most challenging assignment was the engineering proposal because of how difficult it was to find sources. Overall, all of the assignments taught me new skills and forms of writing.

             At the start of this semester, I stated that I was unsure about majoring in computer science or computer engineering. Because of this class and other things that have occurred, I am now aiming for majoring in computer science. I hope to get my masters in computer science one day. I aim to work for a company for a few years so that I can gain experience. My ultimate goal is to start my own business or company so that I can be independent. Hopefully I will create something that will benefit society.
